In June of 2015, TU Delft signed a collaborative agreement with Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) within the framework Chinese national “111” program. A joint research centre “ Smart Ship and Transportation” has been established with aim to promote high quality research covering a broad engineering fields, i.e., naval architecture & offshore engineering, material & mechanical engineering, logistic & control engineering among others. It is believed that graduates from WUT pursuing PhD studies at TU Delft would give this cooperation momentum and consolidate the function of joint research centre.
Do you have educational background in naval architecture, maritime technology, mechanical & logistic engineering, computer engineering or equivalent? Are you holding or will you shortly attain a master’s degree on multi-disciplinary subjects related to safety, reliability, intelligent control, sustainability of transport equipment and infrastructure? Above all, are you a highly-motivated master student to pursue PhD studies at Delft, Netherlands? This is an excellent opportunity to work on high‐profile projects with a great combination of academic and industrial aspects.
